Global Service Adventures is committed to providing the safest possible experience for all of our travelers. We will continue monitoring the ever-changing landscape of Covid-19 and make decisions based on what’s best in terms of protocols, and safety standards with regard to our custom group trips and summer service programs for the 2023-2024 season – but at GSA we’re always ready!
The goal is for everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience. To do so, we’ve decided not to require vaccination unless there’s an issue with certain destinations or locations where outbreaks are more likely than others – but that could change depending on CDC recommendations.
We’ll still be requiring all participants to take a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of departure and may have other safety protocols in place depending on how the situation progresses. Flexibility is key when it comes to making decisions that ensure your health, as well as ours!
We are confident in our ability to mitigate potential COVID-19 exposure on our GSA programs, but also prepared for a scenario where one of us contracts the virus.
Unfortunately, if this happens and we have someone showing mild symptoms, the person will be immediately housed in a separate bedroom. If we feel the symptoms are covid related, a covid test will be given and we’ll seek medical guidance. If someone tests positive, the person will be quarantined based on the CDC guidelines. The other team members will be tested immediately and if negative, continue with their community service project.
